The heavy industry suffered from the sudden rise in price of natural resources, and a advanced processing industry grew up. And, it was expected that the production of service increased more than goods, and software became more important than hardware. In the heavy industry predominant age, the so-called it, "Man's era". But, it was said that if the production of software and the service commodity increases, the "woman's era" would come because the woman suitable for production in the field. And now, 30 years later, "Man and woman cooperation" is being requested in both work and life. However, the idea that "man works outside the house, and woman in the house", that means gender role of the man and woman, still remains. Under this idea, it is after the Industrial Revolution that the woman did not work but was a housewife who does only housework. The Industrial Revolution changed the situation where the home was the place of production and consumption and it became the place of just consumption. It is also said that the woman were confined there.
