 note = {本稿は、美容の分野におけるジェンダー問題を取り上げる。近代以降、男性は自己の美を追求し楽しむことをやめ、ひたすら機能的な身体とファッションを目指さざるを得なかった。しかし今日、美容の場において「男らしさ」の規範を逸脱するような美の追求という現象が見られ、男性が変わりつつあるように思われる。そこで、メンズエステ、男性のファッション、男性化粧品、美容外科、男性ファッション誌へのインタビューを通して、「男らしさ」の縛りから男性は自由になりつつあるのか否かを検証する。, While women have been in chains of beauty, men have been alienated from it because of sexual divisionof labor. But today we can find changes in men's consciousness of beauty and fashion. Is this a men'sliberation from gender role? And it is said that the"soushokudanshi"(grass eating boy) phenomenon isan expression of the new model of men. Is there a possibility that men can enjoy beauty as much aswomen? This is an interview survey with men's psychological aspect about beauty treatment, makeup,fashion and cosmetic surgery.},
