 note = {明治・大正・昭和初期の近代経済学者、社会政策学者、また大正デモクラシーの先駆者である福田徳三博士は、明治期の経済学者、「東京経済雑誌」の創刊者の田口卯吉から影響を受けた。 福田の母・信子は、田口の姉・木村鐙子を深く尊敬し、たえず話題にした。 田口の「東京経済雑誌」の後継者・塩島仁吉は、福田の結婚相手を仲介。 「東京経済雑誌」の投稿者・布川孫市は早くから福田の学問を評価した。後年、福田を東京高等商業学校から退職させた松崎蔵之助の学術上の誤謬を指摘した。, Dr. Tokuzo Fukuda was a scholar of economics, social policy, and a pioneer of Taisho Democracy.He was influenced by Ukichi Taguchi-an economist of Meiji period, and a founder of Tokyo Economist. Fukuda's mother(Nobuko)respected Mrs. Toko Kimura, the sister of Ukichi Taguchi. Jinkichi Shioshima was an editor of Tokyo Economist, and he arranged a marriage between Dr. Fukudaand his first wife. Magoitsu Nunokawa was a contributor to Tokyo Economist, and he reviewed scholarship of Fukuda onits magazine. He pointed out the mistakes in the book of Kuranosuke Matsuzaki, who dismissed Dr.Fukuda from Tokyo Higher Commercial School.},
