Lowes Dickinson、Oliver Hobbes、Cunningham Graham、George Underwook、George Slythe Street、Professor Hugh Walkerなど知人の人々の\"De Profundis\"についての長篇論\n文を夫々初出雑誌から選択して挿入してあるなどもこの集の持つ大きな特色といえる。又、上巻の巻頭に\"De Profundis\"の原稿の一頁をさながらに複写した一葉を添附してあるのもよき企画であるといえる。\n　なお第七集最後のところにあるMirror 紙所載の\"Is Oscar Wilde Alive?\" の一文など\"De Profundis\" の影響のいかにひろく行き亘っていたかということと共に、所謂ワイルド神話の一挿話として注目に値するものであった。Millard
