Previous research examined current phenomena related to town walks and identified their characteristics. After adding considerations from city walking examples from around the world, this paper then examines the future development of town walks from the perspective of relational population. \n  The examination reveals that attachment to the local area is formed from the elements of town walks that create the \nappeal of town walks: \"walking,\" \"sharing,\" and the relationship between guides and guests. Furthermore, from the perspective of the related population, the concept of \"reciprocity\" underscores the possibility of developing town walks based on the values of the new consumer
