| 内容記述 | This study examined the effectiveness of a feedback system based on artificial intelligence (AI) in improving Japanese university students’ English presentation skills and self-efficacy. A total of 21 students participated in a 14-week asynchronous course integrating a feedback system to assess aspects of presentations such as clarity and body language. The participants were categorized into low and high self-efficacy groups based on their pre-test results on the self-efficacy questionnaire. Findings from the analysis of covariance revealed significant improvements in the self-efficacy scores of the low self efficacy group. The participants’ qualitative feedback indicated that the AI feedback increased their self-awareness, motivation, and confidence. This study suggests that AIbased feedback has the potential to be an effective tool for enhancing self-efficacy, especially among students with low confidence. However, the system must be refined further to facilitate the assessment of advanced presentation skills. | |||||
