Its school song (written by Utako Shimoda, composed by Koichi Sawada) has been sung for many years since its establishment in 1904. In this study, I surveyed how the school song of this Institute has been sung and analyzed the musical characteristics of the school song. As a result, it was found that the school song that has been sung to date has at least nine versions including the current school song. ① Original school song established in 1904 ② Version rewritten and arranged in 1932 ③ Version of musical score for three-part chorus of women’s voices ④ Record version with three-part chorus of women’s voices ⑤ Version of musical score for orchestral accompaniment ⑥ Record version with orchestral accompaniment ⑦ Current school song ⑧ Version of musical score for two-part chorus of Women’s voices ⑨ University chime version When I analyzed the musical characteristics of these, there were differences in accompaniment type and harmony. However, while using each version as a reference, individualities of the arrangers were seen in places. It is not the case that a single original song exists as the school song of this Institute. But we were able to perceive that it is an aggregate where various versions coexist."}, pages = {51--70}, title = {実践女子学園 校歌に関する研究}, year = {2020} }
