Japanese university students were grouped in triads and required to exchange information to accomplish a common goal. A fi ve-item questionnaire survey was conducted at two intervals (pre-and post-activity). The students’ communicative self-effi cacy responses for both the intervals were then compared. Moreover, comments from an open-ended question indicated signs of self-efficacy.
