| 内容記述 | Our society, today, is one that is full of social pathology. As individuals, we are overwhelmedwith issues of "truancy," "bullying," "intense stress of taking exams," "withdrawal,""depression," and "lethargy." At schools, we face "endless criticism, aspersions, and favoritismby teachers," and at home, we face "an increase in domestic violence and an expansion in itsrange of types; that is, not only is the husband abusing the wife but also there are cases of thewife abusing the husband."A teacher's effort alone is insufficient to deal with children's problems involving theirparents' "divorce," "in-home divorce (marriage that has broken down but where the wife andhusband still live together without getting a divorce)," and other adverse effects caused bymarital discord. It is necessary to ask for support from a third party—namely, a social worker.During the course of career counseling, it is the social worker who sets the stage and preparesthe youth to reflect on their dreams and aspirations from when they were younger, and on howto come up with solutions using self-leadership skills as they become adolescents.When it comes to the issue of effective career counseling, they are more desirable than schoolcounselors since they have the ability to capt. | |||||
