| 内容記述 | 本論の目標は藤原（2016）に続き、認知意味論の枠組みを使って、いくつかの日本の食べ物の名付け（ネーミング）の背景にある認知機能と意味構造を明らかにすることである。食べ物とその名前にどのような関係があるのか、食べ物の特徴のどの部分に光を当てて、我々は名前をつけるのかを観察、分析し、「メロンクロワッサン」「プリンどら焼き」「どら焼きプリン」などの食べ物の名前の背景にある意味構造と認知機能との関係を明らかにする。本論では、プロトタイプやイメージスキーマなどの認知意味論の概念を理論的基盤とする。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The aim of this paper is to clarify the semantic structures involved in naming certain Japanese foods such as “melon croissant” and “pudding dora-yaki”. My analysis is based on the cognitive semantics framework, drawing particularly from the concepts of the prototype and the image scheme. I apply these ideas to analyzing the naming of a selection of Japanese foods and dishes and discuss the basis for these names. | |||||
