| 内容記述 | 17世紀フランスの多くの礼儀作法書には、当時のモードと不可分の服飾規範が記されており、同時代の人びとの完成と振舞いの特性を知るための格好の資料となっている。本論はこれらの服飾規範の全体像とその意味を明らかにするものである。宮廷をモデルとする服飾規範は、身体表象による社会の階層化に貢献していた。習俗を洗練・教化しながら、一方で差異化を促進することが、絶対王政生成期における服飾規範の特色である。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Styles of the time and inseparably linked standards in garments are found in many etiquette books of 17th century France. These books provide a reference for gaining insight into the sensibility and comportment of people of that period. The objective of this paper is to give an overall picture of these standards and to shed light on their significance. Garment standards modeled after court life contributed to the stratification of society through various physical emblems. The simultaneous promotion of differentiation and the refinement and cultivation of manners is a characteristic of garment standards during the formation period of an absolute manarchy. | |||||
