| 内容記述 | 本稿は「日本点字図書館」と改称して戦後の再出発した図書館事業発展の要因を探るために実施した同館の「事業報告」調査結果である。図書館事業発展の主たる要因は、蔵書数増加にもっとも尽力した点訳奉仕活動である。特筆すべき研究成果は、同胞による奉仕、すなわち「盲人読者による点写奉仕」が奉仕活動の一翼を担っていた史実が判明したことである。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This report investigated the factors in the business development of the Japan Braille Library after it resumed operations after the war. The main factor was “volunteer translators into Braille” which this study is notable for being the first to clarify this point, which is determined from the heading “Volunteer Copying by Blind Readers” in the library’s business reports for 1948-1958. | |||||
