| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to clarify what classes were taught by a music teachers at Tokyo Prefectural Fourth Girls’ High School, Toki NOYA (1891-1945), using “Musical Notes” of a student who graduated in 1936 as clues. It is to clarify the classes’ characteristics. In Noya’s class, works that belonged to Western music were sung with Japanese lyrics, and the original songs included many folk songs, traditional songs, art songs, and opera arias. In addition, students were able to learn music theory through singing songs that were devised to cover commonly used time signatures and tones, and considered to fit within the mezzosoprano range so that they could be easily sung. It further became clear that the songs were selected from various musical scores, not just textbooks, including the songs that had been sung from generation to generation and those incorporating the flow of the times. | |||||

| 内容記述 | 本研究では、東京府立第四高等女学校の音楽教師、野矢トキ（1890-1945）の授業実践について、1936 年卒業生の『音楽ノート』に書かれている歌を手がかりに、音楽面の学びの特徴を明らかにするものである。 野矢の授業では、西洋音楽に属する作品を日本語の歌詞で歌い、原曲には国ごとの特徴を示す民謡や伝承曲、歌曲、オペラのアリアが多くみられた。また、歌を通して楽典を学べるよう、よく使われる拍子や調を網羅する工夫、生徒たちが歌いやすいようメゾソプラノの声域に収まるような配慮が見られた。そして、世代を超えて歌い継がれる愛唱歌と、時代の流れを取り入れた歌を取り上げ、教科書に限らず様々な楽譜にあたって選曲をしていたことが明らかになった。 | |||||
